When the League of Michigan Bicyclists began exploring the possibility of launching a new one-day event, they asked me to investigate three locations around the state, and to evaluate the merits and limitations of each. The case for Adrian was overwhelming.
ADRIAN — Adrian College jumped up four spaces this year on the U.S. News and World Report’s annual ranking of top regional colleges in the nation.
In its 2016 edition of “America’s Best Colleges,” U.S. News has again ranked Adrian College as a “regional top college in the Midwest.” The college is listed 15th in the Midwest region in its “Best Regional Colleges” section, up from 19th a year ago, according to a news release.
Adrian, MI - January 5, 2017 – The official destination marketing organization for Lenawee County, Michigan, is proud to announce the launch of a new brand identity. What was previously known as the Lenawee County Conference & Visitors Bureau will now be called Visit Lenawee, with the organization also implementing a new logo design and long-term vision.
The Croswell Opera House in downtown Adrian is reopening its doors after undergoing extensive renovations for the past year.
The Croswell, named for a former governor of Michigan who helped build the theater, first opened in 1866. The League of Historic American Theatres lists it as the oldest in the state. It has been in continuous operation for 151 years.
As we look ahead to what 2016 has in store for the Holiday Inn Express we cannot help but to be excited. 2015 was a great year for us as we were well represented within the company and the state bringing home several awards/recognition.
